Zelenskiy: Orbán lacks honesty, he lost it somewhere in Russia
Zelenskiy sent another message to the Hungarian PM last night. Poland will not break off its ties with Hungary.
Zelenskiy’s message
As we can read in szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu’s article, the President of Ukraine has been more critical of the Hungarian Prime Minister than ever before. Zelenskiy said Orbán is virtually the only PM who still supports Putin’s regime.
In his speech last night, the Ukrainian President was referring to Orbán as a man who does not fully comprehend what Ukraine and Europe as a whole are going through. According to Interfax Ukraine, Zelenskiy was not asking Hungary to do anything out of its reach.
“We didn’t even get what everyone else is doing! They are doing it for peace. We did not receive the vital transit of defense assistance, we did not see moral leadership. We did not see a single effort to stop the war!”
protested Zelenskiy.
“Nobody in Europe wants the battlefield to be moved from Mariupol to Budapest, from Kharkiv to Warsaw or from Chernihiv to Vilnius,”
he added. As he put it, the entire Europe wants the end of the war and peace.
“The entire Europe is trying to stop the war, to restore peace. Why, then, is official Budapest opposed to the whole of Europe, to all civilized countries? For what reason?”
he asked outraged. The Ukraine president said that if there is a threat to the whole of Europe, it must be addressed.
“This is called honesty, which Mr. Orbán lacks. Perhaps he lost it somewhere in contacts with Moscow”
ended Zelenskiy his video message to Orbán.
“We will in no way sever our ties with Hungary”
In an excerpt of an interview with the conservative weekly Sieci, the president of Law and Justice, which leads the Polish ruling coalition, was asked whether Hungary’s stance during the war in Ukraine “breaks” the Polish-Hungarian alliance of recent years.
“Let’s look at this question from a distance,”
answered Jaroslaw Kacznyski.

According to vg.hu, he stressed that Hungary supported all sanctions proposed against Moscow so far and condemned Russian aggression. Hungary is opposed to the ban on Russian gas imports, but
“so, unfortunately, is the attitude of Germany, as well as of several other important EU member states,”
he said.
“We know that Hungary has a different history, so it looks at certain issues differently,”
Kaczyński added.
He also said that they look at Hungary’s behaviour with a critical eye, expecting “greater engagement”. However, he stressed that this did not mean that “we should stop cooperating in areas where we can cooperate”.
“Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has never let his Polish partners down in the EU scene, Poland will never break off its relations with Hungary, and the Visegrád cooperation will continue.”

The Visegrád ‘cooperation’ is so great that Poland declined to attend the last gathering, the one that was supposed to beheld in Budapest 30-31 March, as did the Czech Republic – the latter openly citing Orbán’s policy regarding the war as their reason for pulling out.
Jozsef, it was smart politics at the time. Now they can continue to cooperate like they do. It is called politics.
Crazy Cuban, if you recall in 2020 Hungary thought that it was going to veto the EU budget as a ‘duo’ with Poland. At the last minute Poland withdrew the threat of the veto (which the Hungarian government only learned from Reuters), leaving Hungary isolated and ‘high and dry’ so it backed down. ‘Cooperation’ only exists when it suits the parties involved. That’s called politics.
Now there will be comments of all sour grapes, in other words, losers. The bottom line is, majority of the people trust FIDESZ to protect them and to provide a standard of living a small country, without natural resources, can provide. It was not gerrymandering that allowed for the win by FIDESZ. It was the rise in the standard of living, it was the sympathy with the oppressed minority in the Ukraine, it was having a government that protected Hungarian values that convinced the voters to support FIDESZ.
Most western media do not understand Hungary or its people. It totally ignores the history of the country. Brussels and the rest of the EU with globalists, continually threaten its sovereignty. The people, well educated in history, resent foreign dictatorship and decided that they have the right to chose their future path that is not pro Russia, pro Soros, pro EU but pro Hungary.
The EU can chose to give Hungary and its people a hard time. All they will do is that turn the country of Hungary further and further away from the EU.
Bad US foreign policy united China, Russia and India. The question is, How close a relationship does the EU want Hungary to have with the previously named countries? or Does the EU want Chinese bases in EU territory? It is wise to consider all angles. It is unwise for the EU to interfere in internal politics.
There was a sign on President Truman’s desk “the buck stops here”. It is time for Zelensky to take responsibility for his decision which resulted in thousands of innocent deaths and destruction of cities. He is also responsible for alienating the Hungarian population by mistreating the Hungarian minority (taking away rights that they had). There is also a rumor that ethnic Russians were also treated badly and oppressed. Hungarian people clearly showed whom they hold responsible for the destruction of Ukraine.
Thank You God that caring, ethical Orban won! Orban and his party put Hungary first. All leaders who care about their nation and people would do so. Orban and his party are outstanding role models. A shining light in this dark world! If leaders did this, there would be far less wars.
Americans and Brits were sent by their governments to fight in wars in Afghanistan and other countries. Many thousands came home in body bags. Many more were permanently disabled. The enemy they were supposedly fighting in Afghanistan were greatly empowered and became the victors. Given billions in aid and in military equipment by the Biden regime. Hundreds of thousands of Afghans who were not in any danger were airlifted out to our countries with millions more to come.
Orban and his party are humane to keep Hungarians out of the war.
